Judicial Review falls within the judicial framework of a country and is very much a part of the activities of the judicial system of particular nations. Judicial Review, considered from the view of political science, is defined as the court's power to review certain actions of various public sector organizations or bodies relating to the legality of their actions or the constitutionality of their of their actions. There are certain Judicial Review that encompasses the reviews on certain law's constitutionality and their appropriate following within the legislature and the jurisdiction. Various countries have various norms and methods of Judicial Review and it may vary according to the rules of the countries. In countries like England, Judicial Review is the method within the administrative law of England by which the courts in the country of England can supervise the actions of various public sector organizations or public sector bodies. Supervision on the exercise of the power of the public is an important aspect of Judicial Review in the country of England. If any person feels that exercise of public power has been flouted or has somehow affected him or her, he or she can apply against it at the Administrative Court. Power is often misused by people who are in power, bestowed upon them by the public, and as such, Judicial Review can be exercised and the court will decide whether the act of the accused has been against law or is an instance of misuse of the law. Often damages can be claimed if the review goes in favor of the claimant. A court order is issued against the the accused, if found guilty after the Judicial Review.
Every country has the basic structure to conduct a Judicial Review according to the laws of the country or the state. In the country of Scotland, Judicial Review is conducted by the Court of Session, in the Republic of Ireland, it is the High Court. In the United States too, there are provisions within the judiciary system to conduct Judicial Review. In many Asian countries too, a number of cases arise that fall under the category of requirement of Judicial Review. Many cases are solved outside the bounds of the court as the claimant are offered compensation packages by the offender.
